The Account Manager must be a mission-focused strategic business development and account management professional with experience achieving sales growth success and customer satisfaction aligned with the goals of the business. Must have a proven track record of establishing and expanding market presence and enhancing relationships with current and prospective customers in the title and real estate industry. The Account Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a sales and business development strategy for assigned market to achieve annual financial targets.

 

The Account  Manager is the primary liaison with partners and our Sales/Operational teams, and must be a strong ambassador of the company.  It is the responsibility of the Account Manager to develop new business relationships, foster and strengthen existing relationships through increased capture or market share, support pipeline of new business, handle SEC Sales, facilitate and lead partner meetings, and provide timely reporting and communication of sales and business development activity.

The Account Manager reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing. 


Summary of duties:

  • Perform new business sales and development activities including development of a strategy, execution, measure and reporting against established KPIs, and achieve established financial goals
  • Develop and promote company brand to achieve greater market share in assigned territory
  • Meet regularly with existing clients in assigned territory to enhance relationships and drive increased sales
  • Participate in and facilitate meetings and activities in the business community to promote and expand brand and company recognition and to build strong relationships with customers and prospects
  • Execute all activities involved in SEC sales
  • Liaison with Sales and Marketing leadership to develop and execute business development strategies to increase revenue
  • Provide Director of Sales and Marketing periodic pipeline and activity reports on progress towards goals

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing plus four (4) years of professional business development experience in the title or real estate industry; or must have a high school diploma or equivalent plus six (6) years of professional business development experience in the title or real estate industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while providing business solutions to obstacles and challenges.

Summary of duties:
 

 

  • Searches for business opportunities for Joint Venture operations and for future Joint Ventures.
  • Keeps State Manager abreast of status of all operations through weekly reports
  • Stays aware of industry developments that affect the title insurance operations and communicates same through staff meetings with direct reports.
  • Ensures that all operations are in compliance with regulatory issues
  • Provides reporting to the Board of Directors on status and action being taken in assigned Settlement Offices, as required.
  • Develops operating procedures on an ongoing basis for new processes for CEO review and approval as well as Training Manager and Director of Business Development.
  • Measures monthly operating results for each assigned operation to the final budget provided by the CFO, reporting variances to the CEO with a corrective Plan of Action.

Summary of duties:

  • Searches for business opportunities for Joint Venture operations and for future Joint Ventures.
  • Keeps Regional Director abreast of status of all operations through weekly reports

  • Ensures that all operations are in compliance with regulatory issues
  • Provides reporting to the Board of Directors on status and action being taken in assigned Settlement Offices, as required.

  • Measures monthly operating results for each assigned operation to the final budget provided by the CFO, reporting variances to the CEO with a corrective Plan of Action.
  • Meets with Joint Venture partners regularly to review financial results and any operational issues,
  • Develops, mentors and trains assigned Settlement Office Managers and staffs in all aspects of the business and on company policies and procedures with the help of the Training Department.

Qualifications:
-Must have high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred

 The Closing Manager manages assigned Settlement Office operations and staff and is responsible for pre-closing, coordinating with lenders, conducting the closing, issuing title policies, preparation and recording of documents and make appropriate disbursements associated with the settlement process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

·         Review and clear title; identify underwriting concerns; prepare the Closing Disclosure, ALTA Settlement Statement and HUD-1 when applicable; order bring downs and tax certifications; obtain conveyancing; prepare daily deposits; process incoming and outgoing recordings and letters of indemnity

·         Make bank deposits and disburse funds in accordance with the signed ALTA Settlement Statement

·         Order all inspections, surveys, payoff statements, hazard insurance. Prepare settlement statement and closing packages. Close loans, fund loans and make bank deposits.

·         Searches for business opportunities for their Joint Venture operation 

·         Communicates frequently with Regional Director regarding status of all operations

·         Maintains knowledge and seeks out industry developments that affect the title insurance operations and communicates information to team

·         Ensures that their operation is in compliance with regulatory issues (for PA – special charges for DOl, AfBA Disclosures for Joint Venture offices, etc.)

·         Develops operating procedures on an ongoing basis for new processes for Managing Partner’s review and approval

·         Measures monthly operating results for their operation for the final budget provided by the CFO, reporting all significant variances with corrective plans 

·         Meets with Joint Venture partners to review financial results and any operational issues 

·         Develops, mentors and trains Settlement Closing Officers and administrative support in all aspects of the title insurance business and on company policies and procedures with the help of the Training Department.

·         Direct supervision of office personnel

  

Qualifications: 

-Must have high school diploma or equivalent

-Must have 4+ years of professional, related experience including leadership experience

-Title industry experience required

-Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities

-Demonstrated capacity in developing staff (both seasoned and new), operating a profitable model (operations improvement, team development, etc.), and performance based management

-Title License is required or ability to obtain within 90 days

-Must have active Notary License
